It’s been a while since we’ve been active on this blog, but now we are settled into
our new home at The Hive you will be hearing more from us.

It’s hard to believe that The Hive has been open now for five years, and it’s wonderful that the Research Collections are now set to become part of it’s on going success story. You can find us on Level two, in the far left-hand corner of the floor as you come out of the lifts.

To help celebrate The Hive’s first five years we have some of items from the Kays Archive on display on level one.

These include china that appeared in the 1894, 1912 and 1935 catalogues; a sewing machine illustrated in the 1907 catalogue and a range of promotional items from 1982.
