Greetings from the Research Collections team, and welcome to our brand new website and blog.
Inspired by the success of our World of Kays project, which shows off some of the treasures in the Kays Archive that we look after, we have created this new site to show off some of the delights in the rest of the Research Collections.
As we develop the site, we shall explore and add material exploring the five key themes of the Collections: Adventure, Childhood, Design, Historical Research and Multicultural books. We’ll also keep you up to date with related activities and developments in the fields of Children’s Literature Studies and research into the history of the British Empire and its colonial legacy.
